BMW 1 Series is a premium hatchback, manufactured by German Automaker Baverische Motoren Werke (BMW). BMW 1 Series Specifications
BMW 1 Series is expected to be incorporated with smaller displacement turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine options in its Indian release. The base model 116i is equipped with petrol driven 1.6 liter TwinPower turbo direct injection engine which can churn out 136HP while BMW 118i will have 170HP engine.
The diesel version of BMW 1 Series will have 2.0 liter engine, as in its present BMW 120d model, which will give 116BHP, 143BHP and 184BHP Power. It is also expected to be available in three-cylinder economic engine and is going to be coupled with six speed transmission system.
