Jeep Patriot, seems to have found his groove lately, with sales surging 57 percent in August, just before the year sales results up to 3 per cent over the first eight months of 2009 year. And while he was not scheduled to hit dealerships until the fourth quarter of 2010, the 2011 Jeep Patriot, now revealed (photographically speaking) and looks ready to build on its current momentum.
Its no secret that the Jeep Patriot--along with his comrade on the compass, the bottom line of Jeep — was something of a letdown when it was started in the year 2007. The cabin was full of sharp, ugly plastic; travel was nervous and loud; and transmissions is class-leading. At least, however, it looked better than a compass and managed to earn the Jeep Trail Rated badge, at least with the so-called System Drive II.
Virtually every system in the sedan, new or updated in the 2011 Chrysler 200, giving their own identity and space in the highly competitive Middle-sedan segment. Updated exterior and sheet metal include: front and rear bumpers and fenders, grille featuring a new Chrysler brand winged badge, hood, rear decklid and exterior mirrors, the new projector headlamps and fog lamps, new Led taillamps, led Center high-mounted stop light.
Jeep Patriot is based on the same platform as the Mitsubishi Outlander, hence the same 2.4 l four cylinder 125kw engine and CVT gearbox gearbox. in automatic and manual modes, but shares the same unfortunate characteristic of most CVT transmissions in automatic mode – when purrs hard car sounds like a slipping clutch. The engine moaning away at a fixed rpm, while the gear ratio is adjusted in order to accelerate the vehicle.
Patriot is available in three trim levels: sport, latitude and Latitude X.
