This B & M short shift System was designed to work on models 1993-1998 VW 2.0 L 8 valve more. It has been engineered to greatly reduce shift throw and improve the sensation of movement. Check parts and tools lists at the beginning of these instructions to the parties and the tools needed to install the B & M short Shift system. Installation of B & M short step System can be done by anyone with minimal mechanical experience.
INTRODUCTION
This B & M short Shift system can be installed in less than an hour by following the instructions carefully. Read all instructions before you become familiar with the parts, tools and procedures. This kit contains all parts needed to install Exchange.
STEP 1. Park vehicle on level ground, apply the parking brake, place the gear lever in neutral and allow the engine to cool.
STEP 2. Locate the transmission shift linkage on the transfer in engine compartment (see arrow)
STEP 3. Remove the pins and remove change rod b.
Needle nose Pliers TOOL: G (optional).
