I wish this feature was available i download multiple large downloads most of the time from various websites i would like to limit the download speed of individual downloads in the download manager this will be a great add-on for firefox. Firefox download manager limit bandwidth. Is there any way to limit the number of simultaneous downloads in the download manager? once a week i queue up a dozen or two downloads and frequently some or all of the downloads fail for network timeout i don't really need multiple, sometimes all, files to download simultaneously and would be perfectly happy if only one downloaded at a time.
firefox download manager limit bandwidth
It should be a separate tab in the preferences window that gives full control of bandwidth for not just the download manager (with its time restraints and all), but also for firefox itself as a program or limiting bandwidth per tab/window. This is much advance technique where you need to limit manually "firefox.exe" application into 100kbps as example if you live in a "shared internet" environment and you don't want to be selfish by hogging all the bandwidth for download you can always cap the bandwidth if you are using torrent, be default they allow you to do so. Pause the download in edge, and everything picks up and continues like it temporarily lost connectivity. my internet connection maxes out at just 11 mbps - those with faster internet may not notice the issue depending on how quickly a server can flick you the file. is there as way to limit the bandwidth that edge can use for downloads??.
