Volkswagen showed us one of the 3,500 units that will be produced for global distribution of Volkswagen Beetle GSR. Nothing more and nothing less than a version commemorating the 40th anniversary of the popular version of the Beetle that ran competitions in the early 70s.
The major differences in this version compared to the conventional are your colors and details.
Inside are contrasting seams in yellow with black interior. Also see GSR letters sewn on the back seat and in the stirrups.
Outside visually highlight the yellow and black, plus alloy wheels 19-inch two-tone, a large spoiler and rear diffuser.
The Beetle GSR has a 2.0 liter turbo charged and a choice of two transmissions. The first is a six-speed manual and the second is the automatic DSG dual clutch six-speed.
The price of Volkswagen Beetle GSR in Germany starts at 30.300 Euros.
